The Ping tool can be used to check and validate network availability and connectivity against local or external devices.

From the SIA Portal:

  • From Tools, locate the Ping tool
  • In the Host URL/IP field, enter the desired address or IP
  • A detailed response will be shown after a few seconds
  • If the IP or address is reachable by SIA and it is stable, then the 4 packets transmitted should all be received back, with 0% packet lost
Delete

Do not include in the Host URL/IP field, prefixes like http://, https:// etc for the IP or address.
