  • Enabling data logging mode

Data logging mode makes it store data in its internal database which can be used viewing historical data in the portal or fetching it from its internal REST API backend.  The mode can be applied on each Instance or individually on Items. As a default the Item will use the mode which its parent Instance is setup to.

Gateway mode is still active even though Data logger is applied. That means, if data logging is enabled all mappings are executed but the data is stored after a successful mapping.

To enable Data logging mode go to either the desired Instance or Item:

  • Click into the details / Edit
  • In the Mode select Logging

After succesfully changing the mode the data will be stored in the internal database and can be viewed in the data chart
