The Edge Portal requires a local user before you can sign in. During the first-time setup, the portal normally opens the Create user dialog automatically after you configure the administrator PIN and choose a license or trial.

The Edge Portal calls the pairing passphrase the PIN code. This is the master passphrase for the SIA Connect installation. It is not the password for your user account.

Before you begin

  • Find the PIN
    • (ANY-Ware) Complete the initial PIN and licensing setup in
    • (Standalone device) Locate the PIN on the Standalone device

Create the first user

  1. Select Register user on the sign-in page.
  2. Enter a Username.
  3. Enter a Password.
  4. Enter the administrator PIN code. Immediately after first-time setup, the portal may pre-fill this field for you.
  5. Select Create user.

When the portal confirms that the user was created successfully, enter the new username and password on the sign-in page and select Sign in.
