Accessing the logs
Learn how to access SIA Connect logs
Sometimes it can be useful to see the logs from SIA Connect, this is especially helpful when in debug mode. The logs help verify that data is being transferred correctly and can assist in identifying issues during troubleshooting.
The siacore.log file is often requested by our support team, as it provides key insights into system behavior and helps identify the cause of communication or configuration issues.
Log level
You can configure the logs to record at different levels depending on how much detail you need:
- Debug – Detailed technical information, mainly for troubleshooting.
- Info – General operational information about system activity.
- Warning – Notifications about potential issues that do not stop operations.
- Error – Reports errors that affect specific functions.
- Fatal – Critical issues that stop SIA Connect from functioning.
Each level includes the messages from the levels below it.
For example, if you select Warning, it will also include Error and Fatal messages.
Accessing the logs
When opening the logs, make sure that you allow popups. Otherwise you won't be able to login. The username is always "admin". And the password is your PIN, same as the one on the enclosure label.
