Add a user to the platform
To access the SIA's portal a user is required. A user can be created by having access to the PIN code which is located on the side of the SIA hardware.
All users have the same rights and is required to do the configuration of SIA using either the portal or the API. It is possible to create multiple users.
API users
The same users and password can be used to access SIA's API.
Locating PIN
The PIN required to create a user for the portal consists of 8 characters in a combination of letters and numbers.
A possible PIN combination could be as: gGZBvZgs
Locate the a label on the side looking as follows.
Creating user
To create a user go to the login portal of SIA. See Introduction to the platform for further information of how to access the portal.
- Go the the portal
- Click the Add user button. A dialogue will open.
- Fill in the information in the dialogue and press Create user
